How do the hot springs mineral pools stay clean?
The cleanliness of the pools is one of our top priorities at Sol Duc Resort. Not only are our pools constantly circulating in new water, but twice daily, the pools are closed for use for one hour. This is known as a resting period. During this time, the water is tested for bacteria levels and much of the water is circulated out of the pool. We try to minimize the inconvenience this may cause our guests by closing only one pool at a time. At the end of each day, the mineral pools are fully drained, cleaned and refilled.
